We do not learn your industry on your dime. We already know it.
Indigo Tones is a digital marketing agency built by people who came from inside the fire and security industry. Fire alarm, sprinkler, suppression, and electronic security contractors, nothing else.
This agency started inside a security company, not a pitch deck.
Before Indigo Tones existed, our team ran marketing inside a commercial security company. Not consulting for one. Inside one. Sitting in on inspection scheduling, hearing which monitoring accounts renewed and which walked, learning why a deficiency report is a sales document and why a GC’s estimator answers some subs and ghosts others.
From that seat, we watched generalist agencies come and go. They built campaigns that bought homeowner clicks with commercial budgets. They wrote “fire safety solutions” copy that no facility director would ever search for. They sent reports counting impressions while the phone stayed quiet. They weren’t lazy. They just didn’t know the industry, and they were learning it on the client’s dime.
“Every generalist agency we watched fail was failing for the same reason: they didn’t know what the work was worth, so they couldn’t tell good leads from noise.”
So we built the agency that should have existed: one that already knows NFPA 72 from NFPA 25, knows why monitoring RMR matters more than a one-time install, and writes for the property managers and facility directors who actually sign the contracts. Fire and security only. That’s not a niche we picked from a list, it’s where we’re from.
From the trade to the agency.
Inside the trade
Years running marketing within a commercial fire and security operation, inspections, monitoring, installs.
The agency failures we watched
Generalist after generalist learning the industry on the company’s budget, and leaving before they did.
Indigo Tones founded
Built around one rule: never make a contractor teach us their business.
Fire & security only, nationwide
Eight licensed trades, two license classes, one vertical. Still nothing else.
Four rules. No exceptions.
The work we turn down is why the work we take succeeds.
✕HVAC, plumbers, roofers
Every hour spent learning another industry is an hour not spent deepening this one. We refer them out.
✕Long-term contracts
If we need a signature to keep you, the work isn’t doing its job. Month to month, since day one.
✕Vanity-metric reports
Impressions don’t pay for trucks. If a report can’t connect spend to calls and contracts, we don’t send it.
They knew what NFPA 25 was before I explained it. They knew what ITM meant. That alone told me they were different from every other marketing agency I had talked to.
You know who we are. Here’s how we prove it.
The audit is our method applied to your market, rankings, profile gaps, and your top three actions, in your inbox within 48 hours. No pitch call unless you ask for one.
